As a survivor of a drunk driving crash, Britt has turned her painful experience into a powerful message of hope and resilience.
Brittany Cass Founder | Survivor | Advocate
Our bold message is to boldly educate our community to promote cultural change and eliminate drinking and driving.
Bold Like Britt was established.
Bold Like Britt with MADD’s support funded two billboards along Hwy 70 in Eastern North Carolina.
Bold Like Britt gained focus and clarity on our mission and started focusing on speaking to military audiences.
As a survivor of a drunk driving crash, Britt has turned her painful experience into a powerful message of hope and resilience. Now, along with her husband, Jared, they are on a mission to share their story. Boldly, they use their voices to raise awareness to save lives. The presentation touches on mental health, substance abuse, and the many programs and resources dedicated to helping those in need. The impact of the presentation is felt when Britt explains how the poor choices of one individual altered the trajectory of the rest of her life.
As a military family, and through candid storytelling, we strive to connect with audiences on an emotional level. Our story is raw, unedited, and told through two separate view points. While we recognize that many face the challenges of substance abuse, our goal extends beyond just reaching those who are struggling. We aim to inspire everyone to join us in the fight against the dangers of substance abuse, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility.
Brittany is survivor, a true miracle, having overcome the challenges of a devastating drunk driving crash that changed her life. The crash left her with significant physical, mental and emotional scars. Her strength and determination propelled her through an intense recovery. With her family, friends and community rallying around her Brittany emerged with a renewed sense of purpose and appreciation for life. Her newly found passion and appreciation for life has propelled her to advocate against the very thing that almost took it. Her journey has transformed her into a beacon of hope as a survivor allowing this trial to refine her and demonstrate that resilience can prevail even in the darkest moments.
