Bold Like Britt is a nonprofit founded by Brittany Cass, a survivor of a head-on, life altering collision by a repeat drunk driver. Through her personal journey of resilience and healing, Brittany has turned her tragedy into a powerful mission to educate communities about the dangers of drunk driving, substance abuse, and making responsible choices.

Bold Like Britt works with schools, youth groups, military communities, and advocacy organizations like MADD to raise awareness, influence public policy, and inspire individuals to embrace their faith and empower them to overcome hard things.

Public Policy

Bold Like Britt is actively involved in supporting the .05 initiative in Hawaii, and Ignition Interlock in North Carolina both crucial steps toward reducing drunk driving and saving lives. Through advocacy, public education, and collaboration with lawmakers, Bold Like Britt has worked tirelessly to raise awareness about the impact that even a small amount of alcohol can have on a person’s ability to drive safely.

Education

Bold Like Britt works to bring education to students and communities about the dangers of drinking and driving, with the goal of preventing the tragic consequences that often result from impaired driving. Our education efforts include a variety of outreach initiatives aimed at changing the culture around drinking and driving. We collaborate with schools, community groups, mental and substance abuse councilors and local organizations to deliver presentations, workshops, and events that promote safe driving behaviors.

Connecting with Our Own

As a military spouse, Brittany Cass has a deep understanding of the unique challenges that come with military life, including the stress, separations, and the pressures that service members and their families face on a daily basis.

Brittany’s passion for spreading awareness is rooted in her genuine care for the military community, and she uses her experience to help others avoid similar tragedies. Bold Like Britt is honored to continue working with military audiences, fostering a culture of safety, and awareness.

Speaking to Church Youth Groups

Brittany feels called to share her testimony of Jesus Christ with youth, showing them how faith can be a source of strength during the most challenging times. Through her personal experience, she speaks about how tragedy, though painful, can become an opportunity to experience everyday miracles, see God's hand in your life and grow closer to him.

Volunteer with MADD

Bold Like Britt is honored to partner and serve on the Hawaii Board of Advisors for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), an organization dedicated to eliminating drunk driving and supporting victims of this preventable crime.
