Brittany Cass spoke with Hawaiʻi’s newest law enforcement recruits about impaired driving, prevention, and the shared mission of protecting communities.
This afternoon I had the opportunity to share my story with Hawaiʻi’s newest law enforcement recruits as they prepare to graduate on Friday.
Both perspectives matter. Mine as a survivor, but more importantly theirs as they witness hard tragedies and show up in people’s hardest moments.
I will forever be grateful for the men and women who choose to serve, protect, and carry the responsibility of making communities better. While our roles are VERY different, our mission is shared- to educate and prevent the ripple effects one reckless CHOICE can have.
