we walk — together — believing with everything in us that we can and we will bring an end to this.

Move with MADD 2025. My first walk without crutches or a wheelchair.

We walk because of the ones whose lives were cut short and the families who carry their memories every single day.

We walk because of survivors — like ME — who fight to stay, who have faced the unthinkable and are still learning how to move forward, one determined step at a time.

We walk because the pain is still happening. Because the need is not over, and the problem is not solved.

And so, we walk — together — believing with everything in us that we can and we will bring an end to this.

I had the privilege of being the victim speaker as part of the race kick off and the ‘why we walk’ story. I also had the privilege of connecting with Governor Josh Green and sharing my story with him. He spent time with my kids and Jared thanking us for the advocacy work we do and our continued efforts to share our story across the islands.
